DENCKER+SCHNEIDER focuses on contemporary art of all kinds – ranging from underground and urban to queer and popart – with no limitations what so ever regarding the material: Acrylic and oil paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, objects, modified ready mades, photo and video art, ceramics, stoneware, fabrics, installations, performances.
Every year DENCKER+SCHNEIDER curates ten different exhibitions in both Copenhagen and Berlin, thus creating a cultural link between European artists and art lovers.
Curated by Eric Le Rouge, Instinct#2 features 12 artists from a variety of disciplines, including photography, painting, performance, and video:

Visitors will have the chance to get in contact with the artists during the opening on September 8, a reception on September 9 and the closing night on September 11. Last chance to see, on September 12.
The exhibition will take place at Village Berlin, a recently opened community center run by and for mostly gay/queer/sexually diverse men.
Instinct brings together younger and more experienced artists, offers them the chance to learn from each other and exhibit their art to the wider public. Instinct is a still evolving art project. A residency program for queer artists starts in September.

Männer-Minne, the first gay choir of Berlin, is a veteran among the gay choirs in Germany. Since 1987, we have entertained our audience with songs, slapstick and big show. The repertoire includes hits and songs, musicals and pop and classical works.
The TEDDY AWARD honors Queer movies in the sections: Best Feature Film, Best Documentary/Essay Film as well as Best Short Film. The 29th TEDDY AWARD will be given away during the 65th Berlin International Film Festival on Friday, 13th of February 2015. The location of the festive awarding in 2015 will be the Komische Oper Berlin

XPOSED International Queer Film Festival – Originally, the International Queer Short Film Festival was launched to the public in Berlin to present queer short films from Australia. Meanwhile, the view has expanded: the organizers present in the last few years, films from Canada, Korea, Turkey, India and the Middle East. The festival not only shows the latest queer short films from different countries, but its focus is primarily on identifying and developing the state of queer life of the region. Therefore, the organizers also look for lost treasures and film classics of queer film scene. May 21–24, 2015
