The Lesbian and Gay Federation in Germany (LSVD) eV as Germany’s largest organization of gay and lesbian tries, prejudice and intolerance counter offensive. The Lesbian and Gay Association Berlin-Brandenburg eV as part of the National Association nationally operating LSVD network. The LSVD is a non-profit and charitable self-help and welfare organization and for many people the first contact point for questions related to the topic of homosexuality. We offer advice and try to counter prejudice and intolerance preventive and constructive.

The LSVD wants to ensure that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people can develop their personal lifestyles self-determination, free of legal and other handicaps, free from hostility and discrimination. With an intense political lobbying and public relations of LSVD advocates the interests of gays and lesbians. Our goal is the full legal and social equality.

The Gay and Lesbian Center of Berlin – Gay and bisexual men are by their lifestyle, their sexuality and social discrimination health risks that differ from those of heterosexual majority. Support services for gay youth who are homeless including clothing, showers, medical and counselling.

During the week you can sleep at our shelter if you come and ring the bell between 9 and 10 A.M.

Every two weeks we do something together like swimming, bowling or cycling. These things are free.

You can talk to our staff anytime during our opening hours.  If you wish to talk more or want special help, we can make an extra appointment.

We also offer e-mail and chat counselling anonymously (you don’t have to say your name).

Several times during the week you can meet us on the street in the scene. You can recognize us by our yellow bags with the subway logo.

You can talk to us at any time and get condoms for free.
